Hi I'm Steve, I have only just thought about tracing the family tree. I would like to follow my fathers line but I'm expecting to face many brick walls as his family came from Italy. Would be nice to find out a bit of history as we don't really know much about this side of the family.

so good to have you join Brit-Gen where we all love the challenge of solving ours and others puzzles.

Anyone of us will tell you that you are about to start a hobby that can become addictive.

The important thing to know is that you start with yourself and work backwards to your parents, grandparents and so on. Oh, also we are not allowed to post information on people who may still be living.

So gather the info, pick an appropriate forum and start posting.
