    Default Moffatt

    I am researching the Moffatt family. My gt grandfather James Moffatt was born in 1854 in Annan. The next information is his marriage in Brampton in Cumberland to Martha Guthrie in 1878. His second marriage was to a Jane. He had 5 children Joseph 1879, James 1880, Thomas 1885, Margaret 1892 and Frederick 1896. James was my grandfather and he moved to Long Framlington in Northumberland. I should be pleased to anyone who can help take me back further or other descendants. By the time I was born in 1949 we had lost a "T" somewhere and become Moffat!

    I believe I emailed you, but I believe your Great Grandfather and My Great Grandfmother were brother and sister. There are many connections to share, in Scotland, England, Canada, and the United States.
