    I suspect that you haven't had a volunteer because people don't want to spend their own credits, or have run out....

    Why don't you contact SP and see if there's an alternative way to pay? I've always found them very helpful and you can't be the first person to have this problem. To get the info you're asking for, it would require at least 2 certificates.

    A marriage cert would give you the names of all 4 parents, ages, occupations and residences of the happy couple plus occupations of the fathers (unless illegitimate, then the father's name doesn't normally appear and the mother's occupation is given). The parents' place and date of marriage is to be found on post-1855 birth certificates apart from a couple of years in the late 1850s.

    Have you looked for Christina & Thomas on the census? Also, Gall isn't so common, so you could use the free index to SP to see whether there's death certs for people of the right age and area.
