    yes lorilou and shaw.shoo are the same person. so sorry for all the mixup! i thought it would help me keep things sorted if I had to accounts for the two sides of family i search...but I now see that it is confusing.

    the area GATES (a very vague locations) could be almost anywhere as I am learning..see message from DOB (thanks for the link!).
    abt 1824 is the birth date I am playing with right now. I have visited FHL a few times and could not find a pretty good match to order reels in to view. But it has been a while since I went that route and should try again with eyes a bit more open.
