Terry, to force Google to look only for the terms you want, you put the phrase within inverted commas: eg "Terrys Family". I'm afraid that searching "William Middleton Butters" comes up with no results.

That’s a “top tip” from anamarja Terry and another one is that if you don’t want a word to appear in the search results then type in the words you want to search for and then type in the word (or words) you don’t want, but with a minus sign in front of it/them.
So if you search for...
William Middleton Butters -Kate
...you’ll find that most references to the Duchess disappear.
If you want to get rid of references to Pippa as well (tho’ I don’t see why you'd want to!) just search for
William Middleton Butters -Kate -Pippa
...but as anamarja said, the “inverted commas” search is one of the most useful tricks there is when searching Google.malcolm99

To add to my previous tip, as well as excluding some information by using a minus sign, you can also force the inclusion of two (or more) different phrases by using the inverted commas around each particular phrase, with a plus sign between. Happy hunting.

Can I ask a related question about Google ?
I live in the town of Stone in Staffordshire. As you can imagine, it would be very useful if I could make Google only bring up sites with Stone but not stone in them. I.e. only with caps, not with lower case. I have to sort through a lot of chaff to get to the wheat.

Try using the search "Stone Staffordshire" - you get a lot of useful hits that way.

Stone Staffordshire
...without the quotation marks seems to bring up focussed resultsmalcolm99
