    Now it's Thomas and Alice Darlinson and young Alfred Darlinson!

    But then perhaps it's a completely different family.

    Peter I think you make some very valid points, the dates and names fit and also this fits with his father being the Alfred George GREENWOOD who died in 1888 so I am going to take up your suggestion and undertake some research on this, many thanks
