The AUP is not applied to every 'lookup' offer on Brit-Gen. What exempts some offers? For instance, there is currently an offer running which covers Cornish surnames.

Well I knew there was a reason why it should not be done but also confess that I had forgotten it was so clearly stated in our AUP.
We can put it down to Senior Moments!

I have stuck it to the top of the New Zealand forum, though it has to be a google link as there are advertisements on it.
(Also some quite funny genealogy jokes)

Perhaps you would keep an eye on it and make sure it behaves it self.

I know, deeree, and that is why I queried it on that particular forum. Will await the respomse from moderators and take it from there.
