hi everyone.I only found this site yesterday so its still a bit scary.My name is kathleen and i live in derbyshire.My main hobby is family research but i also love writing stories and poetry.Please bear with me until i get used to things and hopefully i wont put to many things in the wrong places.Feel free to help me along.

Worry not if you make a mistake - the members here are all really friendly and the Moderators can always help you to fix a mistake.
The main thing is to settle down, have a read at the various sticky posts which should help and, when you feel confident to do so, make a post! You have already taken the first step (I have not even made an "Introduce Yourself post, so you are ahead of me there!).

The main thing is to enjoy the forum and not to worry if you make a mistake. We all do that from time to time!
