    Cool Hello from Queensland, Australia

Hello. I'm from Queensland, Australia and have been researching my Australian family history for the past two years. I've now just started to trace my ancestors back to England which is both exciting and challenging because I don't know the names of many parishes or counties or where to source English records, but I'm slowly learning and look forward to learning more from other forum members. My surnames of interest are HARBIN and WALL from Somerset.
    Thanks,
    Annegen

Hello Annegen - wlcome to Brit-Gen

If you are now embarking upon the English side of your ancestry, have a look at the main Brit-Gen page. In the sidebar on the left are links to various subjects that will give you a feel as to what information you will find in the different records.

Meanwhile, have a good look round the forum and post your questions.

    Good luck with your research,
