I am trying to find out what happened to this lady who was my grand aunt. She was born at Worksop in 1881 she married Benjamin Ramsbottom at Glanford Brigg Lincolnshire in 1901.
They both emigrated to Canada in April 1910. I have a arrival back for here at Liverpool in Feb 1923 and a departure from Liverpool to Quebec on 1st July 1924 when she was listed as Harriet Greaves Ramsbottom on her arrival in Quebec on 11th July 1924
The next thing I can find is Benjamin Ramsbottom (her husband) marrying her sister Kate Ethel White (1888 Langwith Derbyshire) at Vancouver Canada on 10th August 1929
What I am hoping to find out.
Did Harriet die ?
Was she divorced from Benjamin?
I can find no death for Harriet here or in Canada
Thanks in anticipation
Michael

I haven't found the marriage of Harriet and Albert, but I did find an earlier marriage for Albert Joseph Clark (same parents, so I know he was the same man).
He married Lydia Landels, 30 June 1927, Vancouver, BC, so the marriage must have occurred after that date. He was a widower and she was a widow.

Lydia (Lydia Lanels Clark) died 7 Mar 1929 in Vancouver (BC death index on Ancestry). That doesn't narrow the date down very much, I'm afraid.

BC Vital Events statics don't show marriages after 1936 due to privacy issues so they have married after that date.
It is actually Hensall, Ont. for correct spelling!
