I've had to post it, just for fun seeing as
Abraham is 71 years old and Georgina 55 years old and neither father is stated to be deceased.
    Hi Mutley
Thanks for your last four posts, my turn to apologise for the delay in replying but just returned from a long weekend away.
Abraham obviously was a glutton for punishment. As an aside his wife Georgina Chaproniere is related to my wife and is another link to the Mondet Family. I have made contact with another descendant of a Mondet who tells me Abraham and Elizabeth were married in Ireland (Dublin) in 1739 and the family were of Huguenot descent The same source name Lodowyck and Jane as Abraham's parents this ties in with Abraham's will which talks of his estates in Ireland.
I have a strong suspicion that I know Mary Ann's maiden name but need the marriage to confirm it.
    Regards
    Tony

    Hi Tony,

Just typed a really detailed reply, but it reads like War and Peace, so probably not appropriate for a first post! I have some quite detailed info on the Mondet's (including wills), but unfortunately the only information I don't have is what you're looking for. Let me know if you want the info and I'll post it for you.

    Hi Tony,

Lodowyck (Louis) Mondet (b. 1687, Broussy-le-Grand, buried 1756 Temple Church, Bristol) was a Huguenot emigree, and a merchant in Dublin; his parents were Claude Mondet and Francoise Robert (married 1686). He married Jane (surname unknown). They had (at least) two sons, William (d. 1791), and Abraham (b. 1714, d. 1783 Pinner). Abraham was apprenticed to Arthur Weldon, Goldsmith, at Dublin in 1722, and later set up as a jeweller in London ("at the sign of the Old Feathers, Argyle Buildings Oxford Road").

Abraham married Elizabeth Webster in 1739 at St Werbergh's Dublin. They had four children; Elizabeth (b.1747, married John Ride 1764); Anna Maria (b.1740, d. 1791, married Thomas Blogg 1760); Abraham (b. 1752 d.1804) and William (1749-91). William Married Mary Anne (1757-1814), and had five children; Marie Anne (b. circa 1773, married Stephen Clarke 1793); William (1780-1793); Elizabeth (1777-1852); Caroline (b. circa 1786, married John Tuck 1819) and Abraham John (1784-1859).

Abraham John married Dinah Mary Dunn in 1806, who ran off with a journalist (Thomas Barnes, details on wikipedia); He married Elizabeth (d. 1839) circa 1813, and had two children, Abraham John (1814-36 married Ann Warman 1835) and Caroline (b.1817). He next married Georgina Chaproniere (nee Kitchen) (1793-1865) in 1856. Georgina died at Bermondsey Workhouse in 1865.
