On looking over some notes I made I found the Penrose family, Percy aged 38, Elsie, aged 32 and Peter aged 6 all died 1934 Romford Essex. The reference no for them all is JAS 1934 4a 333. They are not close family members but would anybody know the circumstances of their deaths?

I am not sure why you chose to place this question in the Kent County forum. It seems better suited to Essex so I have moved it.
If you have a valid reason for choosing Kent, we can always move it back again.
In answer to your question, I think you would need to buy one of the certificates to find a cause of death in this time frame.

Hi Muley
I guess I wasn't paying attention! Elsie ws born in Kent and it is her family , the Baldocks, that I was tracking.
I didn't want to spend money on a certiicate as it is expensive enough to get for more immediate family (cheapskate!!!!!!)
Thanks for moving the request to the correct section

perseus, if you have a look at the British Newspaper Archive site you will find some reports of their deaths. They were found dead at their home. From the snippets available free, you can piece together a little of what happened. You'll have to get some credit with the site to see details. You get a few free credits when you register, but this will probably only be enough to see one of the articles.
It's a very sad story.

Hi Coromandel
Thanks for your reply. I know it would have to be a sad story due to the fact that they all died together. I'll have a look at the Newspaper Archives.
I got quite a shock a while ago when I learned if a tragedy very close to home which had been kept secret for many many years. Although people are long gone, you do free a very strong attachment.
Thanks again for your reply

Hi Coromandel
Just got the story from Essex Newsman. How sad. I did find Percy's war records on Anc.com.
The site looks to be very useful. Perhaps I'll buy a package. Did get the story for the 15 free credits.
Thanks again.
