    Default 1891 lost street

I am looking for a Freel family in Hebburn in 1891. James and Wilhelmina married in 1895. The family in 1901 is:

    James Freel 35
    Whilhelmina Freel 33
    James Freel 14
    Jane Ann Freel 12
    Mary Freel 6
    Cathrine Freel 4
    Wilhelmina Freel 2
    William M Freel 1

    1901 - RG13, piece 4745, folio 176, page 33.

Another son Edward was born in 1890 and died in 1892. Today I received his birth certificate. The address looks like 55 Tennant Lane, Hebburn (although Tennant could be Sennant or Dennant). Tennant Lane is in the National Archives street index. However, I cannot find the address on FMP address search or in Google searches.

    Any suggestions?

    Kind regards, Mike

There are stacks of Frelses in Hedworth Monkton And Yarrow, Hebburn but cannot see yours. 55 Tennant sStreet is occupied by a family called Barhan. Since my geog is shocking I am looking Durham, South Shields which is where all the ogther Freels turned up. But that might be bonkers!

RG12 4170;82;56is the ref for 55 Tennant street.

Tennant Lane is RG12,4170, folio 80, page 51 ( a few houses). Your family not there though.
FMP has it transcribed as Street !, I submitted a correction.

Interesting one Mona. the actual image reads Tennant Street not Lane so it hasn't been mis-transcribed.

Wow ... quick responses. I only went for a coffee. Thank you all. Yes, it was 1885 and Munro. Mona - how did you find that!?

I guess it's going to remain a mystery where they were in 1891. But I'll keep looking ...

There is a street index for census on National Archives, giving census reference numbers.
