I believed that I had found all my Heaton ancestors in the 1861 census but have recently discovered on the Lancashire online Parish Clerk site the burials of John and Jane Heaton in 1870. Jane died first and her abode is given as Tithe Barn Lane, John's, six months later, as Seneley Green.
In 1851, they were aged 57 and 58 respectively and were living on Tithe Barn Lane in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan.
In 1861, their son and daughter-in-law James and Martha Heaton were transcribed as Keaton and were living in Senel(e)y Green, Ashton-in-Makerfield.
Please would someone look them up for me.

I would hazard a guess that you're using Ancestry which does not have an address search facility, otherwise you could have gone straight to Tithe Barn Lane.
However, thanks to a team of volunteers the printed census street indexes for several censuses have been transcribed. If you're not familiar with the indexes, read the stuff at the bottom of the page.

Specifically, Tithe Barn Lane is listed here...

Thankyou, Peter. The reason I asked for a lookup is that I don't have access to any Census sites: in the past I had the choice of a local library's family history section or the Family Records Centre.
Useful information, though.
