Hi there Doreen - welcome to Brit-Gen!

Whereabouts did George come from? What more can you tell us about him?

Sorry for the questions, but the more that we know, the better placed we are to help.

I know nothing about US civil registration but aren't fuller details of his parents shown on your father's birth certificate?

Hi Doreen, I can see a George F Taylor, wife Ida and children on US census in Boston BUT this George was born Massachusetts, however his father was born in England. Could this be him?

Thank you for getting back to me! The most info I have:
George F Taylor Born 1880 in Lambeth, Surrey England
    PArish Lambeth
His father was George F Taylor also, Mother Mary A Taylor
    Sister Martha Taylor
At the time of the 1881 census they had an address of 16 Richmond St.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Since my parents had me very late in life I have no info on my heritage and am very curious!

Where in the US was George living? Can you name any of his children and approx years of birth (only if deceased, forum rules state no living persons' to be named)
