Hi Malcolm - that would appear to be an indisputable fact

Seems like I touched a few 'nerves' with this thread - oh well - win some, lose some - can't please everyone can I?

2 games this afternoon on the box and I'll be watching.

Must get on with other stuff in the interim.

We are having an evening in, as Greece are playing someone-or-other and every cafe, bar etc will have tv and will be full. Neither of us is a football fan, but I would like Greece to have a rerun of Euro2004.

They lost 1-2 to the Czech's. A dirty game and not very entertaining as a football spectacle

Greece don't seem to be having much Euro luck lately, in more ways than one.

You should try living in New Zealand - most people are besotted with the All Blacks (that's the national rugby team) and the media make training sessions into headline stories. Yawn!!

My wife and I are of to Melbourne next week for a few weeks - we'll get to see some real footie then - AFL that is!!

Two days to go to the big match...We have to win this since Ukraine had a win in their first match.

Of course we can beat the Swedes ...Come ON England!

I don't get to see the games and would like to...hubby watched part of todays and enjoyed what he saw. I think its time for you to say to heck with the strawberries and cream( can't watch Wimbleton on them) and get a 2nd TV instead !!

Glad he only watched a part - it was pretty shambolic as a whole. I watched the whole and if one blinked, you'd miss the goods bits.
