    Default Abigal Smith.

Have the Census alway's been taken at the same time? I've been looking for the death of Abigal Smith born about 1866, Leicestershire. She is on the 1871 piece 3279 Folio 78 Page 14 as 5 years old. But not on the 1881Peice 1576 Folio 74 Page 33. At least i can't find her.
But i've found the death of an Abigail for 1881 December quarter, Leicestershire and it states she was born about 1866.
    Any thoughts?

Susan, I can't trace this in the GRO death indexes or Free BMD. Where did you see it?

    Sorry Malcolm.
I think i've made a mistake and it was 1871. Which of course explains why she isn't on the 1881 census.
I've been working on this Smith family as you can see from my last message on my post marked Census. Quite frankly my head is buzzing with Smith's so sorry for taking up your time
