your answers seem to be here partially, my error Winnie not mentioned - not a positive burial.

I found a Wilfred (with 2nd name) at Niagra.
Have you tried looking for a volunteer to search for you.? Or the Libraries in the area you think may be home to your people?

Marc, I've had a look where some cemeteries offer & found only the one Holland Wilfred as mentioned at Niagra.

This is helpful, to find a volunteer to check cemetery sites but you need to have an idea where a person may be buried

    https://
    cemetery.canadagenweb.org/search.html
Find a cemetery & scroll down to find a volunteer

Another good site but their volunteer seems to have been inundated & stopped access. However they do say they will do searches, you'd need to contact them to see just what & how it's offered.

'Ontario Cemeteries Resources' is the 'you beaut' site which I used once with total delight in the Lovely Lady who found my long sought Relative. Couldn't remember the name earlier. She even checked newspapers & found the funeral notice, plus other details of his life in the community.
https://www...I did however know he'd lived there until his wifes death in 1938.

Once again you need to know the town of interment or death.
Have you asked on Canadian forums? checked other places than Canada, people did move on for one reason or another.

    Also they sometimes return home.

Just found on Tribal Pages search a Family with :

    Birth:
    August 02 1914
    Sheffield England

    Death:
    May 11 1991
    Brampton, Ontario

with thanks to the tree owner who may be contacted via that page.
