This is based on the Charles Booth's maps and the first in the series (6 episodes) is Deptford High Street.

Hope it is as good as it sounds.

I have just watched the programme on the iPlayer and found it to be fascinating. The changing fortunes of Deptford High Street and some of the surrounding roads is quite absorbing and to see how idiots in the local council decided that houses needed to be cleared as they were deemed to be slums is rather sad.

Next week tells the story of Camberwell Grove.
