    Default Thomas George BOYD

I am looking to trace some information on a Thomas George Boyd who was born in Antrim Ireland 1898 and married a Lily Mcclements in 1919, he was then in the UK as we know he had a partner by the name of Cynthia and had 2 sons one called Timothy. He then had or perhaps at the same time a relationship with my mother and had 3 children with her of which I was the first. I was adopted and my brothers were in a home as Frances (our mother) was ill. Thomas died in 1954 and is buried with my mother in Southampton Hampshire. He died 1954. I cannot find him on any of the census's or anywhere else which is odd. If you have any ideas I would be grateful. I was reunited with my brothers in 2009, which was an incredibly amazing experience for us.
    Kind regards
    Rose Maytham

Hi Rose - do you have Thomas' marriage certificate? If so, what were the details of his father? That should help us to identify him in the 1911 and 1901 Irish censuses.

How do you know that he was born in Antrim?

    Default Hi DB SM

    Hi DB SM,
lily and Thomas were married at Crumlin Road Methodist Church Parish Shankill District Belfast Co Antrim. No I don't have the marriage certificate, it came up on searches for Thomas and Lily off Emerald Ancestors. I can find nothing else for either of them, other than Thomas father was James and mother Annabella Brown. James seems to have dissappeared in WW1 I don't have a date of birth for him either, I do for Annabella. From War records it appears Thomas George returned back on the 7th March 1919 and married Lily on the 25th December 1919, after that I can find nothing.
Sorry I have a copy of birth certificate for Thomas
