    Default Internet express- NOT!

I've had probs today with I E trying to access anything. Has anyone else had same?
Finally tried Google Chrome for some immediate email items etc.

Same thing the other day after having been online in wee hours of the morning, later (after brekky,) non event until about lunchtime.

Can't be just me can it?

I prefer to use Chrome or Firefox - both are very reliable for me.

Aha! That could explain why I had problems first thing this morning. I am with AOL, which sits on an IE platform, although I use Firefox. Please don't ask me what that means as I have not the foggiest. All I know is that if there are problems with IE, then some of it rubs off onto AOL.

I was able to log onto the internet, access my emails and all my other bookmarked sites - including Parish Chest - except Brit-Gen I could not even access it through the link on Parish Chest. I ended up shutting everything down and re-booting.

All has been okay since (crossed fingers, legs, eyes and paws...) but, as it was just B-G that I had problems with I thought that the fault was on that server at first. Obviously not!

Thanks for your post, Wendy - it now makes sense to what happened to me. Sort of...
