Hi There
I've been dabbling in searching my family history, and have really been enjoying myself. I'm new to the world of forums - so I hope I don't make too many blunders and embarrass myself. My research has been going along quite nicely, but now I want to move past just names and dates and 'flesh out' some of my facts. Also have come up against a couple of brickwalls that I am having trouble getting past - might need some help/advice
Thanks
Merranie

Hello Merranie - welcome to Brit-Gen

Please don't fret about being new to forums as, if you get lost, we can always lend a helping hand.
It is always good to have the background information to our ancestors, rather than just a list of names, and the members here will help you to explore that.
Good luck with your research,

Hey Merranie you've lucked out & come to the place where embarrassment just doesn't get a leg in. We all started with a gem of an idea & stumbled on hopefully in the right directon. If we landed on Brit Gen. so much the better.
As more info has come onto the I'net we do so much better. Still we need to ask for assistance. (also called 'hey let's get together & chat about stuff').
Amazing what comes out of a seemingly simple post.
Look around- post - Keep enjoying yourself & hopefully reap benefits.Happy Families
Wendy
Count your Blessings, they'll all add up in the end.
