    9.45am here and I just got back from the beach with my dog (went about 7am), and thought I would come and see if there were any posts. You guys have been busy .
    Here was my first port of call when I restarted my searching.
    There are so many new things available that were not when I did it before I went to Canada.
    I did a search on FamilySearch and I think I may have found his parents. A marriage of John Capp and Mary Duffel date: 08 Nov 1774
    in West Tofts, Norfolk. which could be why I could't find them. A large area of Norfolk(including West Tofts) was evacuated in 1944 and used as a battle ground training area for Normandy and it is still used as a battle training area. So getting to the area you have to apply for access to the Ministry Of Defence.
