then to
Elizabeth Izod 27th nov st george in the east 1843

bothjoseph says father robert

cannot find this Josephs birth anywhere

any idea's fmp and anc and free reg nothing

Do you have him in the 1851 census? That would be the place to start in the hope that he provided his place of birth.

This shows Joseph Elam as having been born in 1808/9 in Shoreditch. This is consistent with the baptism shown above (assuming Hackney Road, Shoreditch).

john elam stepney 1878 marriage to emily harriett hohne in 25th dec 1906 states father john but there isnt one he says on all future census that he's born limehouse so i got birth cert for the only john elam born in limehouse stepney 1878 has father robert and jane any ideas why he says john
