My ancestor, Charles Alfred MARTIN (alias Carlos MARTINI) born 1824 in Frome Somerset, was judged to be insane and detained in Broadmoor for 10 years.

Charles was released into the care of his older brother James Charles MARTIN the master cordwainer of Frome.
Charles returned to London and lived until 1913.
Still looking to trace his descendants.

An amazing find.. You have lots of good clues to work on with the description of his children and where they were living at the time.
