Found a photo..

Hello All
I was at my parents house today and was idly looking at some photos on display in the lounge room. When my eyes saw a small frame tucked away, hidden, I squinted and all senses went on high alert. There in the shadows was a black and white photo of an elderly couple (no, not my parents !) I picked it up and recognized the man as being my GG Grandfather but it was the first photo I've seen of my GG Grandmother! I am so excited! Plus when I took the photo out of its frame to scan it, there on the back was a note to Tom (my Grandfather) from his "loving grandmother and grandfather". How lucky am I! (and a wee bit unobservant......)

That is great news! Photographs are wonderful things and it certainly helps to have a face with a name - as well as vice versa.... Have you checked to see if your parents have any others that could be lurking in a cupboard somewhere?

Oh that's fantastic, I'm very jealous as photos are virtually non existent with my lot. I hope you have a rummage in your parents house and find many more
