Hi..I am looking for Griffins in Newcastle under Lyme...I have tracked by ggrandfather to Newcastle L...at least I think it could be him..I have a copy of his birth registration from 1862 but I seemed to have run up against a brick wall...I would like to find a baptismal record for him but have so far struck out...have checked out the Church of England records but could find nothing and apparently there is no way to check out RC records unless I go myself to the archives in Birmingham...g

Hi...as stated before I do have a copy of a birth registration for John Griffin dob 1862 in Newcastle under Lyme...his parents were John Griffin and Bridget Mulreaney...and possibly they came from Ireland...glenda
