I was hoping to find the wife of HOWGATE, John Ward Son Widower 1853 Plumber. I know he married in Sep 1881 but have a choice of 2 wives. Either Mary Ann Burgess or Anne Eaton. But as she died, that's blown that out of the water.

Not a close enough relative to fork out for the marriage cert.

Can you locate a death of either Anne Howgate or Mary Ann Howgate 1881 - 1891? which would indicate which one John Married.

There is a death of a 35 year old Annie Howgate - Atcham 6a 373 Shropshire, Sept qtr 1890 - could she be the missing wife?

There is this death reg which could be a possible! One of the possible wives was Anne!
