    Default Re Hempelman/ Hempleman and Trevett/Trevitt

    Hello Everyone
    Hope someone can help, does anyone know where the name Trevett/Trevitt comes from. Also I'm looking for info o the Hempelman/ Hempleman family this is what I have.
    John Henry Read to Harriet Hempleman March 1883 Medway Kent. Harriet was born 1861 in Great Yarmouth, I've found her 1871 with her mother Elizabeth 49 and siblings Sarah 12 and George 7 in G Y, 10 years later Elizabeth is a widow and Harriet 19 in G Y so it all fits. Going backwards before Harriet's birth I found her parents Elizabeth and George living with her parents Kirkman's, I cant find anything else about the Hempleman's George was a Sailor so he may have died at sea or abroad, any help would be great

    If you Google "Origins of Trivett/Trevett Family name, several sites come up. One interesting site I clicked on is a Trivett Family history with Doomsday book page etc. enclosed, another beginning in 1066. Choice is yours a large.

    1891 & 1901 census has a George Hempleman married to a Catherine. 1891 he is a fish salesman George H. , 2 children& 1901 a gardener, 4 children Born Gt Yarmouth 1864.
    A correction on Ancestry suggests Himpleman for 1901, but birth regs has George Henry Himpleman b 1863,Yarmouth Norfolk 4d- 24.

    1891
    Class: RG12; Piece: 1499; Folio: 27; Page: 8;

    1901
    Class: RG13; Piece: 1809; Folio: 107; Page: 15. (crown copysrite held at TNA)

    Possibly had to give up a sailors life?

    Several trees on Ancestry, one with George Hempleman & Elizabeth Kirkman as Parents to George
    & sisters Sarah Ann b1859 & Harriet Elizabeth 1862. Yours?
