    I am trying to find a Robert Harrod from around 1880 -1911 who lived in Newbiggin then Bedlington.His wife was called Emma.Thankyou.

    Hi there,

    Did Robert live from 1880 to 1911 or are those just the dates between which you are after information? If it is the latter, what information do you already have? When and where was he born?

    Also, if the latter, could this be his marriage:
    March quarter 1880, Houghton Registration District, volume 10a, page 487. There is a Robert William H HARROD and an Emma Jane BATEMAN on the same page.

    Aha! I see that the BATEMAN surname has cropped up before, as in this earlier thread.

    Hi,He was born in 1857,in Saxthorpe,and it looks like Emma was his cousin.You seem to to have found the marriage-thankyou.
