    Default A Confession

As many of you kow from my threads and posts of the past - I am the son of a bastard.

My late father and I accepted this fact ad went on with our lives.

He died on February 2, 2011 and later in 2011 I was diagnosed with a similar condition that ended my dad's life. Since then, I hae been on various types of medication. Some of those have had an adverse affect upon me. As a result, I no lomger respond to the threads of others, but attempt to contrbiute to my own as well as start new ones. This is causing a lot of conern with the friends I have made on this forum.

My friends on this forum have their own lives. I feel that to burden them with details of my own are just adding to their own life scenarios. Retaining their friendship is important to me - regardless of who or where they reside.

As I look at what lies ahead, can I ask for assistance - not in my own case-- but in developing the heritage of my deaughter who will be here when I am not?

    Colin

We're all friends here, Colin, and where we can help, we will.
Sadly, our dear friend Dorothy (alias Thomasin) passed away on Sunday, 17th. February, 2013.

Colin, I also endorse everything that has been said. I like helping solve any problems of yours that I can. It's a pity that not all problems can be easily solved. Be gentle on yourself.

A wise man once said (more or less) The Past is over and cannot be changed; the Future is uncertain; Now is what we can know.
Life is a challenge, the only way is to take it in small bites, one day at a time.

    Best wishes mate.
