Seconded. Oil Carman (although I have come across a few well oiled barmen in my time )

For added confirmation, the occupation code sheet for the 1911 census gives 070 as the code for 'Carmen, Carriers, Carters, Wgnrs. (not Farm)'. Barmen have the code 946.

(Codes beginning with 0, or 1, 2 or 3, appear to be for the most common jobs and are shown in bold on the code sheet.)
