One of my distant relatives was George Storr who was born in Alvingham, near Louth, in 1750. I have managed to identify his parents as being Thomas Storr and his wife Alice, but I can't find any information about their marriage. Can anyone tell me where the records might be kept please - would it be Louth? Or Lincoln? Alternatively does anyone have access to records which may be able to help me please?

The Alvingham parish register for this period can be seen on the 'Lincs to the Past' website. Some of the register is in very poor condition, but luckily this bit is clearly legible:
'1749 Marriages
Thomas Storr & Alice Smith, both of this Parish, were married by banns, Nov.'
[I can't see any sign of a number indicating which day].
