    Default Sarah Elsom-THomas Thompson

Cant seem to locate a marriage for:

Thomas Thompson-brn 1817 Butley and Sarah Elsam brn 1821 Stockport...( baptised Stockport 1821 parents Samuel and Mary Elsam)

I have all other info just a marriage I need thanks.

Both are single on 1841 census..so married between census..

Sarah 1841--HO107; Piece: 108 Folio: 12; Page: 18; Stockport living with her brother Richard

    THomas 1841 HO107; Piece: 108 Folio: 7; Page: 8; Stockport Bramhall

Thomas and Sarah 1851 with 1 yr old son Solomon-HO107; Piece: 2157; Folio: 661; Page: 22-Bramhall Stockport with Sarahs mother Mary Elsam

Their first child was a daughter Ann listed on Cheshire bmd brn between 1846-1850 couple of deaths that fit but she was deceased by 1851 census..I didnt know about her until I started searching cheshire bmd..thought Solomon was their first chld..

Their 2nd child was born 1850 Bramhall Stockport: Solomon 1850 so would expect a marriage 1845-1850
Solomon is on Cheshire bmd--birth 1851 Hazel grove Stockport mother-ELSAN ( spelt wrong)) The next child has mother as ELSOM The 3rd ElSAM..so various spellings in registration..

Now as the 1841 census has them both single but both living in Bramhall I would assume this is where they met, I know their their 2nd child Solomon was also born Bramhall Stockport, so I would expect to find a Cheshire marriage..have checked IGI..Cheshire bmd and free bmd
