Francis Kerridge married Eliza Durrant at Stratford St Andrew, Suffolk, 10 June 1831.
Where would I check such a record and would it provide any further detail, say their parents - so far unknown?
I have the 1841 (Framlingham) and 1851 (Ringsfield) census records for the family just prior to their embarking for Australia, and the birth details for their children. Thank you, Heather

Hi Heather17
See here for typical information included in marriage registers for the time period you are interested in. You will see that the required information does not include parents' names. Still worth obtaining a copy of the entry though as witness names sometimes prove helpful.
According to the Suffolk Heritage Direct website, St Andrew Stratford parish registers are held by the record office at Ipswich. Why not email the office and ask them if they provide a copying service and if so how much it would cost for a photocopy of the entry. It shouldn't cost very much. See here for contact details.
As an aside, if Francis and Eliza ended up in Australia, have you looked for death certificates for them as these may include parents' names?

Olliecat, Thank you for the advice - I'd not found the Suffolk Heritage Direct site. I will contact Ipswich for this and related items.
And give myself a good talking too as well .... I do have transcripts of both the death certificates .... my brain certainly had gone awol. Kind regards Heather

Hi Georgiep - As you will see from my reply to Olliecat - I was rather absent in charge of my Mac today. I've actually got transcripts of both these death certificates ... . Thank you for taking time to respond and best wishes Heather

Hi Andy, Thank you (again). 1841 census has a Sarah Kerridge 50, wife of Wm K bricklayer, also living Chapel road Framlingham - maybe she's that witness.
On a different tack, my elders here in Aus. think this Suffolk family have all died however I've found a descendant of the son George who returned to Beccles abt 1860s. I can sent offline. Best wishes Heather
