Hi,
I have been researching my family history for just over a year now, I have come to a full stop on my 2nd great grandfather John Poole 1822-1880.

Can you give us details of his wife and children to help locate him on a census?

Welcome to the forum.

We have quite a few members with knowledge of boat people.
Take a look around the forum and post your question with names, dates and places also census and the references if you have any and I am sure will will do our best to find John for you.
Don't worry if you are not sure on which board to ask the question, we can always move you into another tributary.
Just sit back and enjoy yourself.
Good Luck.

I am sure once you have had a good look round then as Mutley says you will be able to post fuller details elsewhere.
