Default More Tasmanian Newspapers in Trove

More Tasmanian history through these newly digitised newspapers in Trove—Launceston Advertiser, The Tasmanian and Port Dalrymple Advertiser and The Clipper. These newspapers were contributed by the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office.

Doesn't help me, but may have something for somem of you.

Ahh Sandra AND the Goulburn Penny Post (with gaps to be filled from the Goulburn Herald) and the Newcastle Chronicle (hopefully with gaps filled by the Newcastle Pilot) and then the Newcastle Morning Herald (and Miners' Advocate) are also on the list for this financial year too!! Yes! This will be wonderful for both of us!

On a less satisfying note there is as yet nothing from the Northern Tablelands aka New England area of NSW. I have made a request for the Armidale Express. The State Libraries make the final decision - not the National Library (NLA). Anyone can request a newspaper be put on the scanning list by making it official through the TROVE website - or fund raise or pay to have one scanned. ($2 a page doesn't sound much but the Newcastle papers are costing nearly half a million.) There are conditions regarding the number of issues already on microfilm and other practical considerations.
