I think we can rule her out - I suspect Bessie was a nickname for Esther Ann who was the sister of Elizabeth Mary, mother Ann Phillips Eathorne, father John

Cannot find a specific Bessie in either 1891 or 1911. In 1891 at 20 West Charles St. Camborne there is an Elizabeth M. residing with her widowed mother Ann. She is a dressmaker. This same lady is now on her own and living at Trevenson Street, Camborne
