In the late sixties one of my relatives up and left with his sweetheart. His sweetheart was under age and for many many months they moved from village to village living in his words like a gypsy, getting work where ever he can and in the kent know as the garden of england it was easy for them to get work. Her parents had the police looking for them for a year and then gave up. Later on he spoke with a newspaper and in his own words told them a story "Why i lived like a gypsy "
Can any one advice on where one would start to look for any information on this story. My dad seems to think it may have been some thing like a national newspaper but age being what it is he cant remember.
Any appreciated.

I had a bit of a Google for this, didn't find it but did find an article which caught my interest, may do so for others also wondering about the 'travelling life'. Could be a contact name here-in who may advise on where to find your article Witchypoo?
