We all remember some truly wonderful Irish jokes, well we thought we remembered them. Must put on thinking cap.
Sandra whose spectacled aura isn't offended either.

I like hearing Irish jokes. None of these are racist or offensive. You need to have a laugh and as Bo Peep said she would have removed them if she found them offensive.

Paddy asked Seamus "What do you think of euthanasia".
Seamus said "As bad as the youths in Ireland".

In my opinion (only my opinion mind) the best comedy on TV comes from an Irish man, Brendon O'Carrol, and that's Mrs Browns Boys. It's the only comedy that has EVER made me laugh out loud.

As long as the jokes are told without malice I see no problem. I'm from Wales, and I take no offence when people mention sheep jokes. in fact I usually join in. The comments come, usually, from the English, but I excuse them cause they can't play rugby hahaha

I thought these jokes were just wonderful and I've had many chuckles this morning! I am definitely not offended.

I am proud of my Irish ancestry. I wear green on St Patrick's day and mean it as I remember my ancestors who escaped the famine to London and then to Oz (and also those others who arrived in Sydney after a free voyage.) I only wish my ability to tell Irish jokes was better but I just can't remember them. Each time I read one it's new. I don't know whether it's memory loss or the Irish in me!

    HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!

    Jane

In my case, Jane, it's too much Guinness or some other dark Irish beer!!!

Enjoy today - tomorrow here, I will

The most important people to me, outside of close family that is, are those folks who have the ability to laugh at themselves and be comfortable in their own skin.

Laughter is often the best medicine.

Dig deep enough and the memory sometimes works!

Bridget, mother of 10, was chatting with her parish priest, very concerned about the increasing number of mouths to feed. She carefully explained her concern about the possibility of number 11.
The priest asked if she had discussed her concern with her husband.
"Patrick doesn't concern himself in such things," she replied.
"Have you tried the rhythm method", suggested the priest.
"Now Father," said Bridget, "where would we be getting a band at 3 o'clock in the morning!"

Sandra whose spectacled aura totally disowns her on this occasion!

A man walks into a pub and says "Ok who wants to hear an Irish joke?" he feels a tap on his shoulder. Turning around he sees a huge beast of a man who says ' Before you go telling Irish jokes, I'll warn you I'm Irish and you see the barman, he's Irish and has done time for murder. the man sat on the stool at the end of the bar, he's a bare knuckle boxer and he's Irish and the bouncer at the door, he's Irish too. "Now are you sure you want to go telling Irish jokes"?

The man looks at his questioner and says ' No...... not if I'm going to have to explain it 4 times"
