    Default lydd lifeboat rescue

    I am trying to find information regarding a sea rescue from the stricken yaght KINUNA between the years 1945/47 when the captain skipper Reginald Smith and his two daughters Dora and Beatrice were rescued from the sea by the Lydd Lifboat at Dungeness Kent

    Hi Suren,

    I have moved this from Genealogy Beginners to Mariners & Ships. I have checked the Times Digital Archives and can find no mention.

    I wonder if anyone has access to local papers for the time frame?
