Red face Newbie, having great difficulty!

Hello I'm Zani and I'm new.

I am having great difficulty tracking my husband's grandfather's ancestry. What I have is the following:

    Arthur Walker
Born in London on 29 March 1886
Educated at Highfield College, Chertsey, England
Son of William Walker (we don't know what the mother's name was)
    Two siblings, Rose and Daisy.

In 1901 he came to South Africa aged 15 as a horse handler with the Imperial Yeomanry, later he was a scout and was wounded. He was awarded a good conduct medal and was given a disability pension.

What I did find was this, but not sure it is him:
Walker, A. 35809, Trooper Imperial Yeomanry

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Sorry to ask you a few more questions but I am struggling to find a William Walker in 1891 with children
    Arthur, Daisy and Rose.
Do you have him in this census? Was he still in the UK in April 1901 for the census on 31 March?

Do you know where in London he was born, I presume Surrey area but can you pin it a bit closer and do you know what the occupation of father William was?

    Well I’ve found a possible family in the 1891 Census: RG12 Piece 702 fol. 83 p. 33.

Residence: Canterbury Road, Willesborough, East Ashford, Kent.

William Walker, Head, age 52, Retired Police Constable, born Bedfordshire
Rebecca Walker, wife, age 51, born Bedfordshire
Emma Walker, daughter, age 17, Dress Maker, born Enfield, Middlesex.
Rose Walker, daughter, age 12, Scholar, born Tottenham, Middlesex.
Daisy Walker, daughter, age 10, Scholar, born Tottenham, Middlesex.

Daisy was baptised at Holy Trinity Church, Tottenham on 13th March 1881 when William was a working Police Constable.

Rose was baptised in the same church 27th April 1879.

    Mmmmm?
I did see them too but where was young Arthur?
He would only have been about 5 years old surely he was not in the school then?

Thinking about it, I am sure I passed an Arthur who was a nephew, cannot remember whose nephew,
will have to go and look again.

    No Arthur Walker at Highfield House School, Chertsey in 1891: RG12 Piece 552 fol. 103 p. 29 or in 1901: RG13 Piece 590 fol. 116 p. 39.

It's a medium-size small boarding school with 60 pupils in 1901. In 1901 the youngest child is 8. In 1891 the youngest are 7,8,9 but most of the boys are between 10 & 14 years old.
