Shay, Ive found a birth for Thomas Morgan b 24 March 1801 Llanfechain
Parents: Thomas Morgan and Elizabeth - there is no image available to view on cantFMPast!

    Also 2 possible deaths:

    Thomas Morgan 5 May 1842 age 40 (c1802)
    Llanwnog, Montgomery
    abode: Ty Gwyn

    Thomas Morgan 17 Apr 1846 age 45 (c1801)
    Guilsfield, Montgomery
abode: Hendrehen.....wasn't there a mention somewhere about a placename similar to that?

Not getting far with a marriage for Thomas to a Preece, which is unfortunate considering that baptism info for John.

    Fancy this one instead?

Thomas Morgan to Elizabeth Brothwood 23 Dec 1829 Wrockwardine, Shropshire.
It could be Elizabeth's parish (in which case its not our's born in Merioneth!)
or it could be your family and they crossed 30 ish miles to England to get wed for some reason??...told you I'm having problems!!

    Rebecca

Sorry Shay, given 2 deaths for Thomas but you already know his death as per 1st thread..sorry to be so dim, put it down to Morgan madness!

    Sorry Shay, no!

The source of the data is from Montgomery Genealogical Society, thats all there is unfortunately.

Seems like a good match though doesn't it?
