On my thread for an unwanted birth certificate for James Bacon I have a green ricle with arrow on and one with a tick but nobody else seems to have any of these on their threads am I a special case!!!! or a bit of a nut case not knowing what this means ?![]()

Have you checked other threads you've started? I think you'll find that they have the same 'symbols'.

The meanings are:
green circle with arrow = you started the thread
green circle with tick = you've posted in the thread

Almost, but not quite.

If you click on "What's New", you will see the green circles.
Green circle with an arrow (over on the left) means that you have subscribed to that thread*
Green circle with a tick (under replies) means that you have replied to that thread.
*You can subscribe to a thread without actually posting a reply. Voting in a poll, for example, will subscribe you to that thread without you replying.
