    Default Tollington Nursery - Islington

    The family I am researching (name of Smith!) owned Tollington Nursery from 1841 - 1871. The family were nurserymen and florists.

    I know that Tollington Nursery was in Islington (possibly around Hornsey Road?). Would anyone have any maps or information that might pinpoint the exact location of the Nursery.

    old-maps.co.uk and type tollington road islington into the search box, then click on one of the maps for the years your looking for, good luck you should find the nursieries at the junction of hollway road and tollington road on the 1871 map i have just been looking at i seems that the nags head shopping center is on the land now
