Default Look up Please ROMFORD area

Could someone please see if they can find the birth of a Lucy Harman b abt 1864-1865 near Romford Essex as stated in the 1881 census and her marriage registration in 1894 in Australia.

I have looked up Free BMD but cannot find her registration. Lucy's parents are Charles Harman and Eliza Graham.

There is also a death registration of a female HARMAN (unnamed) aged 0, in the September quarter of 1868 in Chelmsford, Essex.

Not all births prior to 1874 were registered.

There was a mass baptism of the Harman kids on 11 Aug 1871 at St Stephens, Hammersmith.
Lucy's date of birth was given as 18 July 1863.

Thank you very much for responding so quickly.

Thank you Pam. I have found the baptisms you mentioned plus a further 2 in 1872 and 2 more in 1884.
