Hi,
I'm transcribing some census pieces for Derbyshire and have come accross two abbreviations that I can't work out. I have a father and son who are both listed as 'farmer' but this is then followed by two lower case letters which look like 'rc' (for the father) and 'fc' or possibly 'lc' (for the son). Does anyone have any ideas?
I've seen acreage listed after farmer and details of how many men and boys are employed but I haven't seen these before.

I think you will have to post the census reference to get any useful help.
