I did forget to say, obviously everything depends on Ancestry correctly transcribing the name.
And also, I can't confirm that they have actually finished all of the indexing for all of the places, even those in the same registration district.

As Peter has pointed out, anyone who posts a lookup using data obtained from FMP is breaking the terms and conditions of this provider.

From another post of yours, it seems William HOLLAND was born in Fremington. Checking the 1891 census he is living in St Pancras with wife Ann. In 1901 he is still in St Pancras but his birth place is recorded as Instow, Devon and his wife is now Emily, born in Brompton. Looking at the 1911 census index on Family Search..

    name: Emily Holland
    event: Census
    event date: 1911
    gender: Female
    age: 59
    birthplace: Brompton London, London
    record type: Household
    registration district: Barnstaple
    sub-district: Bishops Tawton
    parish: Fremington

    name: William Holland
    event: Census
    event date: 1911
    gender: Male
    age: 65
    birthplace: Instow, Devonshire
    record type: Household
    registration district: Barnstaple
    sub-district: Bishops Tawton
    parish: Fremington
    county: Devonshire

On Ancestry, searching the 1911 census summary books for HOLLAND in Fremington brings back no results. However, browsing through the summary book images for Fremington (luckily it is a small parish), you will find Mr HOLLAND on image #8 of enumeration district 5.

    Psychic
Note: with respect to the summary books on Ancestry, the surname is transcribed as HOWARD but it is clearly HOLLAND.

The summary book information gives sufficient information to locate the image of the household schedule. I.e.

    County: Devon
    Civil Parish: Fremington,
    Enumeration District 5
    Schedule No. 138

Pam in post #10 has explained how to locate household schedule images. Once you have located the correct set of images, go to image #278.

As this seems to be almost a duplicate of piggolo's query from yesterday, I have closed that one to avoid confusion.

piggolo: please read your other thread as Mutley has posted a response that I do not want you to miss.

    Thank you,
