Earlier today I had trouble accessing the catalog page of the old Familysearch site.
I was sure that such a useful tool must be on the new site, so went searching. It took a while but I eventually found it.

defaults to place names, but you have a drop-down box so you can select film number, surname, etc.
It says that this is a beta version, and there is also a link to the old catalog - though that currently doesn't seem to work any better than the direct link to the old version.

(And, yes, I can spell, but I thought it more polite to use the [American] spelling used by the LDS.)
