Hello everyone
I am tracing my family from Basingstoke, Hampshire (not really from here but its where I was born in 1967), to London, to Norfolk and, I doubt it will ever happen, beyond. I found the site by googling an ancestor's name and was surprised and delighted to see it as part of a discussion on this site - so I am looking forward to joining. Unfortunately I am a very stop start kind of researcher with a six hour mad session followed by a couple of months of my time being taken up elsewhere. Hopefully the forums can cure this.

I'm sure that once you get "beyond" you'll be hooked on this great hobby. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful so post your queries in the relevant forums and I'm sure our members will do their best to assist.
